Townhome Colorsplash in Cleveland, OH

Designer: Sean Carter, ASID Allied

Inspired by a custom-commissioned painting from the client's personal art collection, Sean designed the main floor of this contemporary townhome as a vibrant expression of color, art, and modern luxury. Drawing from the artwork's playful palette of chartreuse, teal, and soft whites, the design creates a cohesive living environment where bold artistic statements meet refined sophistication.

Sculptural furnishings, luxurious textiles, and curated artwork bring personality and dimension to the open-concept living and dining spaces. Chartreuse lounge chairs provide an unexpected burst of color, while soft upholstery, rich black marble, and contemporary brass lighting introduce balance and elegance.

The kitchen makes an equally striking statement with a custom handmade tile backsplash designed by Sean, featuring a playful, randomized geometric pattern in varying shades of teal, aqua, and deep blue. Crisp white cabinetry and streamlined finishes allow the bold tilework to take center stage.

A thoughtfully integrated home office with vibrant blue shelving and elegant brass accents completes the space. The result is a sophisticated yet spirited home that celebrates the client's love of art and color while embracing the comfort and timeless appeal of contemporary design.
