The Colorful Kitchen in Shaker Heights, OH
Our clients were referred to us by a colleague who knew we’d be the perfect match. They weren’t sure what they wanted for their kitchen remodel, but knew color needed to be a part of that. Sean and Barrie worked together designing this custom kitchen to be uniquely colorful, luxurious, and fit the lifestyle of the clients. They grouped four different door styles varying in gloss eggplant and emerald, sophisticated jewel blue, and rich walnut wood stain. The clients wanted a functional kitchen for their everyday lifestyles but could also be used for caterers when entertaining formal parties. Every detail was thoughtfully designed specifically for the clients. Sean and Barrie designed a large custom kitchen sink in hammered copper to be accessible on both sides of the island. A matching hammered copper hood pulls from the sinks and tie in with the pendant light fixtures the clients purchased on one of their many travels around the world. Imported lilac marble adorns the perimeter cabinetry, while a rose quartz sets the stage on the island. The wallpaper imported from Paris has moths printed in a chevron pattern and pulls all the colors of the space together.
