Color Makes Me Happy in Rocky River, OH

When our client was house hunting, she asked us to tour a house with her before making her final decision. The home had neutral colors and tones throughout. As we walked though, our client said, “I love the house, but you know we will need to add color, lots of color. Color makes me happy”. That was just what we needed to hear!

There are bursts of color throughout the home now from a soft melon tone to greens and aquas, but nothing is more impactful than the bright Fuchsia hemp wallcovering in the two-story foyer. It ties all the colors in the furniture together & creates a cheery entrance. The jewel box of a powder room is a favorite with its whimsical bunny wallcovering and gold leafed ceiling.

The home celebrates all of our client’s many collections from ceramic roosters to artwork acquired during her travels abroad. We considered all aspects of her lifestyle with our design, especially with the lower level European-inspired pub with a nod to their family history for events.

The best compliment was when our client said, “I just love the house now, it’s feels like me!”
